New volunteers need to provide the following:
- BSA Adult Application – which includes an approval for BSA’s background check
- Pennsylvania Volunteer Background Checks
- Safeguarding Youth / Youth Protection Training Certificate
- Position-specific Training (check with the unit leader for what is required for your position)
- Merit Badge Counselor Application (if you’ll be teaching merit badges)
